As ‘Wednesday Man’ I explore new live-sampling techniques through the use of self-written software. Music instruments are recorded and played back in new structures so new music is created from an ever expanding collection of recordings. This process is made visible through the projection of twelve loudspeakers on top of an installation. These screens are like different players within an ensemble. Each one plays its part within its own place in space and time, constructed from different audio-visual fragments. The result is an interaction between the present and past, between electronic music and ambient pop.
