Aphex Twin

Who attended Aphex Twin’s live- performance at STRP Festival 2009 probably has the visuals still on his retina. As king of the ‘intelligent’ techno music, this electronic hero is known best for his releases in the 90’s like ‘Come To Daddy’, ‘Analogue Bubblebath’ and ‘Windowlicker’ to mention some things from his huge range of tracks. But ‘Richard D. James’, Aphex Twin’s real name, also released a lot of work under other pseudonyms such as AFX, Polygon Window, Caustic Window and Dice Man. That’s what happens when you spend your whole life playing with computers, sequencers, keyboards and reel-to-reel tapes.

Expect a fusion of acid and ambient techno, industrial drum & bass and imaginative, emotional electronic music with an experimental edge.
