Tom Pursey is the co-founder and creative director of Flying Object. After seven years working at Google and YouTube, he left, along with a colleague, pursuing their interests in experience design, technology, and the changing ways audiences consume media content.
Flying Object is a London-based creative agency that develops installations and content for clients in the culture, technology and media sectors. Recent work includes the multisensory art exhibition Tate Sensorium. Tate Sensorium invites its visitors to experience art with all their senses. Tom will discuss what the team learned while developing this installation and how multisensory design will be enabled by new technologies to cross boundaries.
