He has been called the ‘Antichrist of Silicon Valley’ since 2007 because of his criticism of the so-called blessings of Facebook and Google and his sceptical view of tech-evangelists. Now everyone shares Keen’s worries. In his recent book How To Fix The Future, Keen switches from sarcasm to a pragmatic optimism. According to Keen we should be searching for solutions by counteracting the monopolies in digital markets. But he also thinks we must take responsibility as consumers to make the use of technology more humane.
