Dispersions 0.3
Alex Brajkovic
How do we listen with more than just our ears? The multisensory installation Dispersions 0.3 by Alex Brajkovic explores the relationship between sound, wind, fog, movement and space, enriching it with new meanings and content. By synchronizing the movements of fans and fog with music and sound, Brajkovic attempts to get closer to synesthesia of the senses.
The installation explores the relationship between digital sound and its physical manifestation in space. It invites us to enter a world not controlled by technology, but in balance with nature. As a meditative experience that teaches us to be present again, Dispersions 0.3 is a counter-reaction to the abundance of visual stimuli that dominate our lives.
