Honeyboys (VR try-out with Q&A)
Nemo Vos met live sound design door Spinvis
Honeyboys is an allegorical VR experience that takes the viewer on an uninterrupted descent by following a delivery boy into a world where overconsumption, labor and reproductive systems merge into a single pulsating machine. The viewer is an invisible witness who gradually becomes part of the larger system.
The experience challenges the audience to question their own role within this world and the forces that govern our lives, placing them at the center of an inescapable system that controls everything.
While the narrative of the film focuses on isolation and questions systems of control, the setting of the experience offers a sharp contrast: it invites you to experience the film collectively through shared, embodied participation and shows how technology can raise our sense of collectiveness.

This VR try-out invites 25 participants at the same time. During the screening, musician Spinvis will experiment with live sound design. After the screening, the audience is invited to share feedback during a Q&A with the artists. The work is set to premiere in the fall of 2026.
