Soon STRP Festival 2023 will open its doors for you! The STRP team is already busy transforming this year’s three festival locations into the setting for STRP Festival, The Art of Listening, and we look forward to welcoming you in Eindhoven. This article gives you a sneak peek to prepare your visit to Microstad, the Heuvel and Catharinakerk from April 13-16.
Formerly known among Eindhoven residents as the KPN building, is now Microstad. Next to Eindhoven's Central Station, the building now provides a raw space for culture to evolve. In addition to part of the Expo, Microstad also houses the Hangout and the Stage during the festival. The Hangout offers food & drinks, a live radio station, STRP Frequencies, a bookshop, a stage for artist talks and space to just sit and relax. Among other things, the Stage will host all STRP Scenarios and the music night Open Field.
The Catharinakerk, a well-known church in the heart of Eindhoven, is the setting for one of the Expo works. The work is by Guillaume Cousin and is freely accessible to everyone, even without an Expo ticket.
Shopping center the Heuvel, next to the Catharinakerk, gives the stage to the rest of the Expo works. On the second floor, above the stores, the works of five artists can be visited.
